“Dormo Poco e Sogno Molto”
Directed by Paolo Santamaria
The video opens like a travelogue and then loosens into dream logic: handheld footage of the band moving through sunlit exteriors is edited against tightly staged, colour‑washed interiors and choreographed bursts of movement. Cuts are rhythmic with the track’s reggae‑inflected pulse, and a careful synchronisation between music and movement gives the piece a taut sense of momentum.
Paolo Santamaria directs with a focus on texture — shifting camera distances, quick reframes and lodged closeups that make the human bodies feel both anchored and buoyant. Santamaria has described the work as a kind of "journey of the soul," a framing that fits the video’s oscillation between the quotidian and the slightly uncanny (Billboard Italia).
Released alongside the single on 25 September 2020 and later featured on the album Machu Picchu, the clip helped carry the song beyond Italy’s indie scene; the official video is publicly available and its festival run is noted in press and listings (Apple Music, YouTube, Wikipedia).
The Berlin Music Video Awards has chosen it as this week’s Music Video of the Week, a pick that highlights how modest production choices — handheld cameras, tight choreography, careful editing — can shape a video's emotional arc as surely as big budgets do.
